For legal certainty in terms of data storage obligations

Your data is stored in two autonomous datacenters that are geographically separated by several kilometers. To comply with the archiving requirements defined in Basel II, Sarbanes-Oxley etc., data can only be written once and cannot be changed. Of course, read access is unlimited. The length of the archiving period can be set anywhere from 5 years to indefinite.
