green.ch AG, R+B engineering AG, and HTNW are collaborating on a KTI project on energy-optimized data centers (EOD). Over a 2-year period, Cyrill Grüter of the University of Applied Sciences, supervised by Prof. Dr. Peter Gysel, will analyze our existing green.ch data centers, and suggest and implement improvements. Very soon, we can expect power savings and thereby a better eco-balance than ever before. The new findings shall also be applied to the Lupfig green data center project. Lupfig will meet the world’s highest standards with respect to ecology and PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and will far exceed conventional green IT benchmarks.
