both internal and external.

Multi-level virus protection
|
|
All elements (eMails, attachments, entries in public folders etc.) are swept for viruses by a 4-stage anti-virus program. Fast and up-to-the-minute protection is guaranteed.

Multi-level spam filter
|
Spam protection for the green.ch mail platform is realised in two stages:
- The first stage is the Intelligent Messaging Processor (IMP), located in
front of the platform. This protects the platform from known spammers and
other dangers associated with spam. The IMP is constantly comparing senders
of mail with several spam databases and blacklists. As soon as the address of
a sender is found in one of these blacklists, the mail is rejected. Emails which
include a reference to these addresses (URLs) are also rejected.
- In the mail platform itself, the spam filter (Cloudmark Anti-Spam) checks each mail
for spam automatically. If the criteria by which it searches for spam is
met, the note [SPAM?] is added to the Subject line. Emails that are marked
in this way can thus be moved directly to the junk mail folder or deleted directly,
depending on the user's personal settings.

Access via 128-bit key
|
Every access to your mailbox is carried out with 128-bit encryption. This may be via your Web browser with HTTPS or in Outlook 2003 via RPC (Remote Procedure Call Protocol) with HTTPS.
Incidentally: With Business eMail you don't need an SSL certificate. This
is provided for you by green.ch.

Windows 2003 Security
|
|
The security concept of Windows Server 2003 represents a fundamental change in the Microsoft environment. Strict limitation of user privileges ensures that only clearly defined persons receive access privileges.
