Roger Süess, CEO
Roger Süess studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil and worked in the industry and as a consultant. He has about twenty years of experience in IT banking which he gained in management positions at Credit Suisse and at UBS. In his capacity as Managing Director and Head of the Cloud Business Office, he was responsible for the UBS cloud strategy and its implementation. He also managed the Swiss and EMEA infrastructure regions before joining Green in 2019.
Pius Grüter, COO Retail
Pius Grüter is an IT engineer and was co-owner and a member of the founding team of TIC The Internet Company, which merged with Green in 2008. Since the merger, he has been heading the retail business and is a member of the senior management team. For the past 10 years he has continued to develop Green as an internet and cloud service provider. He and his team share an unwavering passion for technology and its uses for the 100,000 Green customers.
Andrea Luigi Campomilla, COO Datacenter
Andrea Luigi Campomilla holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration and an EMBA in International Management. He brings over twenty years of experience in the planning, construction, and operation of data centers. He is an accredited Tier Designer and one of the most distinguished experts in Switzerland. In March 2020 Andrea Luigi Campomilla became Chief Operating Officer at Green where he is responsible for data center construction and operation as well as deployment and security.
Patrik Hofer, CIO
Patrik Hofer studied business administration and has been working in telecommunication for over twenty years. He has worked as Key Account Manager, Marketing Manager, Strategic Alliance Manager and Head of Wholesale. As CEO and in the Board of Directors, he ensured growth for Nexphone AG. Furthermore, he supported companies with his extensive knowledge as an independent project manager. He has been CIO at Green since 2019, where he is responsible for internal IT systems and manages corporate IT.
Alexander Eberle, CFO
Alexander Eberle studied economics before completing further training as a Swiss certified auditor. As Head of Controlling and Finance, he worked in the SME and the IT sector before being appointed Financial Controller at British American Tobacco, with an international remit. As a financier, he is involved on a voluntary basis with the non-profit organization genisuisse Aargau. He joined Green in 2014 as part of the management team and is responsible for finance.
Marco Stadler, CSO
Marco Stadler holds an Executive MBA in International Management and is a certified electrical engineer. He possesses extensive expertise in the IT systems and solutions business which he acquired at Ascom and IBM Switzerland among others. From 2014 to 2018, he headed the North American business of the Swissphone Group, where he became a member of group management in 2011. In 2018, he joined Green where he is responsible for presales and sales of the company’s data center business.
Birgit Weische, CHRO
Birgit Weische has an MAS in Public Administration and in International Business Law, and a DAS in Human Resource Management. She has spent the last 15 years as an HR manager at national and international companies, and has managed projects relating to organizational development, personnel development and restructuring. With 11 years at Hewlett-Packard under her belt, two of them spent as Head of HR, she is intimately familiar with the IT industry. Since December 2021, she has led Green’s HR department as the CHRO.
Franz Grüter, Chairman of the Board, National Councilor
From the beginning of his career, Franz Grüter has worked in the IT and telecommunications sector. The certified electrotechnician co-founded and co-owned several Internet companies, one of which – TIC The Internet Company – merged with Green in 2008. He was instrumental to the company entering the data center business and actively promoted the development of this sector. As councilor, he is also a member of parliament and he is also vice-president of the ICTswitzerland umbrella organization.
Ashley Davis, Member of the Board
Ashley Davis has an MSc in Intelligent Building Design and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow ofthe IET. He has spent much of his career in financial services, responsible for the design and program management of mission critical facilities spanning HQ buildings and corporate data center portfolios. Most recently he was a Managing Director at UBS, responsible for data center strategy. Ashley has been involved in the data center industry as both a consumer and developer of facilities.
