Applications that meet the conditions are published every Tuesday at 14.00 CET for a period 20 days. Competing applications can be submitted during this period. List of registration applications

Applicants must demonstrate that they have an adequate connection to Switzerland. This is demonstrated by having a registered place of business and an actual administrative site in Switzerland. Applicants must also be entered in the Swiss commercial register or have the status of an association or foundation. Swiss public bodies such as the Confederation, cantons, and municipalities can also apply.

From the 24th of April 2024 onwards, natural persons domiciled in Switzerland and Swiss nationals may apply for the registration of a .swiss domain. The social insurance number (OASI) and address provided in the registration application must be that of the domain name applicant.
