Connect a domain to Jimdo or Wix

If you wish to use your domain with our products and Jimdo or Wix at the same time, there are a few points to bear in mind.

Please note: Under no circumstances is it necessary to transfer the domain to another provider.

If you have registered your domain with Green and your website is hosted by Jimdo:

In this case, the simplest solution is to use Jimdo’s nameservers.
You can find out how to change the nameservers at Green here.
Jimdo specifies which nameservers you need to use here.

If you use our email services and your website is hosted with Jimdo:

In this case, due to restrictions on Jimdo’s part, different nameservers should be used.
You can use our nameservers. The DNS entries for your email service will be automatically applied.
Additionally, the Jimdo website must be connected via CNAME. Jimdo explains how to do this here.

If you have registered the domain with Green and your website is hosted on Wix:

In this case, the simplest solution is to use Wix’s nameservers.

Wix specifies which nameservers you need to use here.

If you use our email services and your website is hosted with Wix:

In this case, you can use either Green’s or Wix’s nameservers. It is important that the other provider’s service is added to the DNS zone.

If you use Wix’s name servers, add our DNS records for the email service in Wix.
