Default Green Nameserver
Nameservers are an important part of the Domain Name System (DNS), which ensures that a domain name is converted into a computer-readable IP address and can therefore be accessed worldwide on the Internet. The nameservers are the servers that host the DNS entries.
Here you will find out which are Green's standard nameservers.
Note: Change of nameserver may take up to 48 hours to fully propagate.
Nameserver
Green's default nameservers are as follows:
1. | ns1.namesrv.ch |
2. | ns2.namesrv.net |
3. | ns3.namesrv.io |
External Domain Registrar
The nameservers are always registered with the respective domain registrar. In other words, the company from which you purchased the domain. If you have not registered the domain with Green, you may have to enter the name servers in the administration portal of the external provider.
Note: Some registrars also require you to enter IP addresses. In this case, enter the IP addresses listed below:
Nameserver | IP Address (IPv4) | IP Address (IPv6) |
cns1.cloudpit.de | 109.237.142.8 | 2a01:64c0:0:5000::8 |
cns2.cloudpit.com | 148.251.254.105 | 2a01:4f8:201:22cc::105 |
cns3.cloudpit.io | 109.237.143.8 | 2a02:2680:101:5000::8 |
