Green TV Guide - Amigo TV Box

This guide describes the functions and menu items of the Amigo TV Box.

This text version contains the visible controls and on-screen texts. Example programmes, channel lists, times and programme descriptions have been omitted as they are intended for illustration purposes only.

Connecting the Amigo TV Box

The following connections are located on the back of the Amigo TV Box:

  • Power supply
  • Ethernet / Network
  • HDMI
  • Analogue audio/video connection

Connect the TV Box to your television.

Connect the TV Box to your network.

Connect the TV Box to the power supply.

Main Menu

The following sections are available in the main menu:

  • TV/Radio
  • Recordings
  • Apps
  • Settings

The following functions may also be available depending on the view:

  • What's On
  • Guide
  • Replay
  • Search
  • Listen to Radio

Recording Programmes

Select the "Record" function from the programme view or from the information screen of a programme.

The following options are available for series:

  • One-time recording
  • Record programmes within the same series

The following options may be available for ongoing or scheduled recordings, depending on their status:

  • Repeat
  • Close
  • Delete

Viewing and Managing Recordings

The "Recordings" section includes the following views among others:

  • Recent
  • Scheduled
  • All

Recordings can be filtered and displayed using various criteria. Depending on the view, the following information may be visible:

  • Programme
  • Date
  • Length
  • Category
  • Status

The following functions are available for a selected recording depending on its status:

  • Watch
  • Delete
  • Lock
  • Unlock

Programme Information

The "TV / Information" view displays information about the selected programme.

This can include:

  • Programme title
  • Channel
  • Date and broadcast time
  • Season and episode
  • Category
  • Age rating
  • Programme description

The following actions may be available depending on the programme:

  • Record
  • Watch channel
  • Show similar programmes
  • Play programme
  • Watch from the beginning
  • Select language

Creating and Editing Favourites

Open the "Favourites" section from the "Settings" menu.

Several favourites lists are available:

  • Favourites 1
  • Favourites 2
  • Favourites 3
  • Favourites 4

A favourites list can be activated or deactivated.

Adding channels to favourites:

  1. Select the desired favourites list.
  2. Highlight the desired channel in the channel list.
  3. Press OK to add the channel to the favourites list.

The following additional functions are available:

  • Add all
  • Remove all
  • Edit favourites

Changing the order of favourites:

  1. Open the desired favourites list for editing.
  2. Select the desired channel.
  3. Move the channel to the desired position using the UP and DOWN buttons.
  4. Confirm the new position.

What's On and Guide

The "What's On" section can display content and recommendations.

The following sections are available among others:

  • Now
  • Recently on Replay
  • Latest Recordings
  • Guide
  • Replay
  • Search

Content can be filtered by category. The following categories are visible in the PDF, among others:

  • General
  • Events
  • Fencing
  • Football
  • Athletics
  • Cycling

Using Replay

In the "Replay" section, available programmes can be searched and filtered by category.

Additional filter options can be opened using "More Filters".

A language can be selected for the search. The following options are visible in the PDF:

  • None
  • German
  • French
  • Italian
  • English (GB)

Audio and Video Settings

Under "Settings" > "Audio & Video", the following settings can be adjusted or viewed:

  • Menu language
  • Audio language
  • Subtitles
  • Info timeout
  • Guide time span
  • My TV display
  • Picture format
  • Device name

The following example settings are visible in the PDF:

  • Info timeout: 7 seconds
  • Guide time span: 3 hours
  • Picture format: 16:9
  • My TV: Centre
  • Device name: Living Room

Language and Subtitles for a Programme

Select the "Language" function from the programme information screen.

Depending on the programme being broadcast, the following options may be adjusted:

  • Audio language
  • Subtitles

General language settings can be changed in the Audio & Video settings.
