Restrictions when Sending Newsletters

The following restrictions are currently in place in our system, among other things to limit spam abuse:

  • Hosted Exchange has a variable rate limit. More specifically, this means that the values are adjusted at regular intervals. This effectively combats spam abuse.
  • If the email sender exceeds the rate limit, they will receive a bounce-back message indicating that the rate limit has been exceeded.
  • Sending from a Hosted Exchange user is currently limited to a maximum of 99 recipients. If the number of recipients is exceeded, correct delivery cannot be guaranteed. The system will reject the message in this case.
  • Every Hosted Exchange user can adjust the spam filter policy for their account directly via the administration portal.

Note: Please note that we cannot make any exceptions to these restrictions.
