Your Green Internet connection moves with you: Here’s how to properly notify us of your move

We’ve all been there: You’re in the middle of the stress of moving, lugging box after box, handing over the keys to your old apartment, and assembling furniture late into the evening. When you finally want to treat yourself to a pizza and a good movie after such a tiring day, you realize: Darn it, the internet isn’t working. That’s not how an evening in your new home should end.

Experience has shown that we receive the most move-in notifications in March and September. During this time, our team does everything possible to ensure your service is ready in time for your move-in, so you can enjoy your new home from the very first moment.

How to enjoy your first evening in your new home without the frustration of being offline

So that you can focus entirely on the move and setting up your new home on moving day, we’ll take care of the rest behind the scenes. With the right preparation, your internet will move almost on its own. Here’s how we’ll work together to ensure a perfect connection from day one:

  1. Notify us of your move: Please let us know about your move using the move-in form, ideally at least four weeks before your move-in date. If a fiber-optic outlet (OTO outlet) is already installed in your new apartment, please enter the OTO ID (the number listed on the outlet) in the form. If you do not know this number, your new property management or the previous tenant will certainly be able to provide you with this information.
     
  2. Check Details & Router Check: Once you’ve notified us of your move, we’ll assess the technical conditions at your new residence and determine whether your current router is ready for the move or if it needs to be replaced. You’ll receive a notification with all the important information and next steps so that you’re fully prepared for moving day.
     
  3. Internet Activation & Hardware Delivery: Once all technical details have been finalized, we will activate your internet service. If necessary, we will also send you new hardware so you can get online in your new home without any interruption.
     
  4. Plug it in and get started: On the day your service is activated, just plug in the router in your new apartment and you can start surfing the web right away.
     
  5. Contact Support: Is your connection not quite working properly in your new home yet? No problem. Just contact our team by phone or through the contact form. We’ll guide you step by step until you’re online in your new home.

With these simple steps, nothing will stand in the way of a stable internet connection. This way, you can focus entirely on setting up and enjoying your new home without the frustration of being offline.
