Note: This help article applies only to Hosted Exchange. If you are not sure which email service you use, you can find more information in the following article.

Check the Storage Usage of Your Hosted Exchange Mailbox
The current storage usage of your Hosted Exchange mailbox is displayed directly in Outlook Web App (OWA).
You can sign in using the following address:
https://ch.exg7.exghost.com/owa
Depending on the configuration of your Hosted Exchange service, OWA may also be accessible through a dedicated address on your domain.
Display Storage Usage
- Sign in to OWA.
- Click the gear icon for Settings in the upper-right corner.
- Open the General section.
- Select Storage or Mailbox Usage.
- There you can see the current storage usage of your mailbox and the available storage space.
If your mailbox is approaching its storage limit or is already full, emails may no longer be received or processed as usual.
In this case, check whether emails that are no longer needed can be deleted, moved or archived.
In-Place Archive as Additional Storage Space
Hosted Exchange provides an In-Place Archive as a separate archive mailbox.
The In-Place Archive has a fixed size of 50 GB and cannot be expanded.
The archive provides additional storage space and helps reduce the size of the primary mailbox.
The In-Place Archive is displayed as a separate mailbox in OWA. In Outlook, it appears in the folder list with its own icon.
It uses the same folder structure as the regular mailbox, ensuring that archived emails remain clearly organised.
You can find more information about the In-Place Archive in the following article:

Check Storage in Outlook as Well
Depending on the Outlook version, storage usage may also be displayed directly in Outlook.
You can find this function under File → Tools → Mailbox Cleanup.
Note: If your mailbox remains close to the storage limit despite deleting or archiving emails, or if emails can no longer be received, contact Support.
